And you can experience that history at the original Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory. On top of providing some great insight into how their ice cream has evolved over time, you can also visit their “flavor graveyard.” Here, you’ll find tombstones commemorating every discontinued flavor of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, complete with witty rhymes about their untimely end. Apples are Vermont’s official state fruit, so you’ll also want to visit the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, the largest producer of cider in New England. You can tour the mill and enjoy delicious cider samples and apple cider donuts. As a result, this tour is a fun and family-friendly experience for New England vacations.
